
Strada recently completed the design of the Dick Thornburgh Room, located in 1,700 s.f. of prominent space inside Pitt’s Hillman Library. The room is designed to provide an interactive learning center that facilitates and encourages the exploration of government service and allows examination of the life and experiences of Dick Thornburgh. The room also will allow for interaction through meetings, presentations and discussions and showcase his archives.
Strada recently signed three open term service agreements with West Virginia University. Alan J. Cuteri, AIA, LEED 2.0 AP, Principal in Charge of Higher Education Architecture, will lead select projects at WVU.
Strada, along with Stuart & Associates, was selected to develop a master plan for East Liberty Place, a new mixed-use development on Penn Avenue in East Liberty.

John A. Martine, AIA has been named the local chair for the 2007 Society for Architectural Historians’ Annual Meeting, coming to Pittsburgh on April 11-15, 2007.
Michael A. Stern, ASLA presented “The Crossroads: The Urban Revitalization of a Historic American City” at the Pennsylvania Planning Association’s annual meeting in Harrisburg, PA last fall.
